How to deal with pain?

The pain which you feel cannot be cured by grieving over it; it can only be cured by knowing the reason behind this calamity. Once you know the reason behind your calamity, I am sure your pain will fade away and you will find peace within difficulty. In shaa Allah.

Know the reason behind your Calamity.

At the time of Hardship, It’s man’s nature to be impatient but when he [true believer] knows the reason behind the hardship. He begins to display patience. Patience is the best remedy for every trouble, if you had patience you would not be in trouble. Because patience helps us to stay positive in difficult situation and makes our life more easy and beautiful. If you want to make your life beautiful, learn to be patient. Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said; ...Nobody can be given a blessing better and greater than patience." [Sahih al-Bukhari 1469]

What is the reason behind the Calamity ?

The answer is very simple and easy, Test. A test from Allah SWT, because the life of this world nothing but a Test.

Why does Allah test us? Test to check the quality of the faith and patience in you. In this test if you pass you will win the pleasure of Allah and achieve the highest rank in Jannah. How to live a happy and successful life?

Mere ustad kehte theh ke khush haal zindagi ke sirf 3 usool hain.

1) Apne zindagi ke maqsad ko Janlena.

2) Apne oper aane wali musibat ki wajah ko samajlena.

3) Is musibat pe, sabar karne per, akhirat mein Allah swt ki taraf se jo umdah reward [paradise] milne wali hai us per pakka yaqeen rakha.

To Allah SWT us insaan ko dunya ke har ranj o gham se azaad kardete hain.

Aur Jo Insaan

1) Apne zindagi ke maqsad ko jaan Na saka.

2) Apne oper aane wali musibat ke wajah ko samaj Na saka.

3) Aur agar Akhirat per bhi iska Iman kamzoor raha.

To wo insaan dunya ki choti si choti takleef ko bhi bardasht kar nahi pata.

Kyunke ye naam ka musalman hai. Naam ka musalman hoon main, Isliye pareshan hoon main.

Allah SWT Test us with Poverty

The life of this world is nothing but a test, and one of the ways that we are tested by Allah SWT is through poverty. Test to check the quality of the faith and patience in you.

Allah SWT said in the Quran : And We will test you with some fear and hunger, and a shortage in money and lives and fruits. And give good news to those who are patient. (Qur'an 2 : 155)

...He tests them by limiting their provision... (Quran 89 : 16)

Or think you that you will enter paradise without such (Trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments ... (Qur’an 2 : 214)

According to the Qur'an, every trial, such as illness, poverty, loss, or any other pain, has a purpose. Be strong and keep patience; a wonderful reward awaits you for your lofty action patience.

Allah SWT said in the Quran : "Those will be rewarded with the highest place [in Paradise] because of their patience.." (Quran-25:75).

Whenever any trouble comes to the people of faith, they start saying that this has come by the will of Allah, and this is a test for us, and for this, they start being patient. When a person's perspective becomes like this, they find peace within difficulties.

Thinking too much about the problem and putting yourself in depression means you don’t know the purpose of your life or your faith is incomplete, that’s why you are suffering. If you know your purpose of life and if your faith is complete, then you will definitely show patience and you will not bother about the problem; you just understand that the life of this world is nothing but a test, and Allah SWT tests me with this problem.

At the time of hardship please maintain patience, and your patience is never a waste, there is a reward for it. The reward of patience in the face of misfortune is more than what has been lost.

Reward of Patience - Paradise

Simple Life of Prophet Muhammad ‘PBUH’

'Aishah narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) did not eat his fill of barley bread on two consecutive days until he was taken (died)." [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2357]

Abu Hurairah narrated: "Neither the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) nor his family, ate their fill of wheat bread for three consecutive days until he parted the world." [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2358]

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: O Allah, make for the family of Muhammad the provision which is a bare subsistence. [Sahih Muslim 1055b]

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “The bed of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was made of leather, stuffed with fibers of date-palm trees.” [Sunan Ibn Majah 4151]

'Abdullah narrated : "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) was sleeping upon a mat, then he stood, and the mat had left marks on his side. We said: 'O Messenger of Allah! We said: 'O Messenger of Allah! We could get a bed for you.' He said: 'What do I have to do with the world! I am not in the world but as a rider seeking shade under a tree, then he catches his breath and leaves it.'" [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2377]

‘Umar bin Khattab said: “I entered upon the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he was (sitting) on a reed mat. I sat down and (saw that) he was wearing a waist wrap, and there was no other barrier between him and the mat but his waist wrap, and the reed mat had made marks on his side. And I saw a handful of barley, nearly a Sa’, and some acacia leaves, in a corner of the room, and a skin hanging up. My eyes flowed with tears, and he said: ‘Why are you weeping, O son of Khattab?’ I said: ‘O Prophet of Allah, why should I not weep? This mat has made marks on your side, and this is all you have accumulated, I cannot see anything other than what I see (here), while Chosroes and Caesar live among fruits and rivers. You are the Prophet of Allah and His Chosen One, and this is what you have accumulated.’ He said: ‘O son of Khattab, does it not please you (to know) that (these things) are for us in the Hereafter and for them in this world?’ He said: ‘Yes.’” [Sunan Ibn Majah 4153]

‘Aishah said: “I never saw anyone suffer more pain than the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).” [Sunan Ibn Majah 1622]
